About KUF

The Knowledge and Understanding Framework (KUF) training is an innovative learning opportunity for professionals working across criminal justice, health, social care, and voluntary sectors to support people with complex emotional needs, often associated with a diagnosis of ‘personality disorder’.

The training, commissioned by His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service and NHS England through the Offender Personality Disorder Pathway, is led and delivered by regional OPD Pathway partners.

The KUF programme is co-facilitated and co-produced by trainers with lived experience and clinical expertise using a trauma-informed approach. This learning environment was created specifically for participants attending the 1, 2 or 3 day training for courses not funded by HMPPS/NHSE.

The content for this one extra learning support, is from the original KUF Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) currently hosted by Volute. There are also additional resources to support the one-day content. Your access to this Learning Environment is based on your attendance on one of the KUF courses being delivered by Windmill Training. By using this learning environment, you agree to not to copy or print the KUF content  or share your log in details with anyone else who has not attended the full 1, 2 or 3 day course. You will have access to the content for 12 months.

If you have any questions regarding the content on this learning environment please contact KUF@windmilltraining.co.uk
