Teaching, learning and assessment in education and training (TLA)

This is the first unit which helps with the baseline assessment of your current skills and also introduce you to some of the areas that will be investigating in more detail in future units. This is a large core unit so it has been split into 4 unit sections, however the tracking sheet (below) is for the whole core unit.

The purpose of this unit is to:

1. Understanding the role and responsibilities of a teacher in education and training
2. Reviewing the diversity of learners
3. Explore learning barriers
4. Introduce the teaching and learning cycle
